The Role:
To own and drive quality activities in support of our clients new products. This role will specifically support the EEI (Electrical & Electronic Integration) BICEP ensuring all new products/systems are robustly designed and validated using recognized engineering quality tools & techniques.
Main duties to include:


* Failure Mode Avoidance activities (QHR, PFMEA / DFMEA etc) within the BICEP
* Support development of Project Robustness Assessment
* Conducting virtual and physical fresh eyes / campaign prevention reviews
* Concerns management and progression
* Product and part quality inspection standard generation
* Product and part quality inspection process generation
* Product quality performance target setting and achievement
* Craftsmanship and reliability targets & achievement
* Quality attributes targets & achievement
* Develop / maintain Quality Standards (VQRs) and input into Part Quality product
* Lead problem resolution and root cause activity using 8D / Six Sigma Methodologies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* HNC qualified or equivalent
* Previous experience of automotive EEI (Electrical & Electronic Integration) systems either as OEM or Tier 1 supplier
* Experience of vehicle design and development processes
* Strong attention to detail
* Effective communicator at all levels
