The Role:
This role will be within the manufacturing business team, with responsibility for working with IT to convert requirements into achievable and productive technical and process solutions.

Main duties of the role include:
* Representative for Operations, gathering, collecting and managing business requirements.
* Work with the IT Business Partner to convert manufacturing business requirements to achievable deliverables.
* Work with Project Manager and Project Teams to coordinate manufacturing business resources, to support design, validation and similar activities.
* Take responsibility for business engagement and support to ensure successful deployment of new tools and technologies.
* Own and where necessary lead the assigned tasks of detailed project plans delivering solutions to the manufacturing business, and monitor and report progress.
* Co-ordinate the dependencies within the Operations function, such as availability of resource to support solution design or validation.
* Report variations to plan with project Management as needed.
* Keep the project informed as to any risks and issues, whilst also seeking appropriate mitigation and resolutions within remit.
* Own the Release Governance process for Operations as and when required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* University or relevant vocational qualification.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing business processes, requirements and challenges.
* Appreciation of relevant best practices and awareness of affecting factors such as compliance, and technological, societal and other trends.
