The Role:
To develop the capabilities of the our client's powertrain controls department and to deliver objectives.

Exposure to wide range of powertrain controls activities from strategy development and coding through to calibration activities and climatic testing, for application in both engine and automatic or dual clutch transmission control.

Technical
* Carry out vehicle and engine controls system development to Client or customer development processes.
* Investigate and resolve issues relating to engine and gearbox control.
* Schedule, supervise, make changes and correlate results from emission test work.
* Support engineers at supplier or customer visits.
* Support manufacturing and after-sales departments with issues relating to powertrain controls.
* Understand then calibrate engine control algorithms using appropriate calibration tools.
* Investigate and resolve issues relating to integration of powertrain controls within with electrical architecture of the whole vehicle.
