The Role:
The Welder will be in charge of Welding of fabricated assemblies

Manufacture of assemblies to drawings/process/instructions using MIG/MAG and spot welding equipment.

Knowledge of welding equipment being used.

The Welder will have the Use of Grinding Wheels, Drills, Power Saw and various other tools as appropriate.

Inspection and testing of assemblies prior operations.

Work in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines, including keeping work area and machine clean and tidy.

Use and maintain all supplied Personal Protective Equipment in good condition.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The Welder will have a qualification related to welding and fabrication

General fabrication and welding experience

The ability to work as part as a team or individually as and when required

This role may involve unsociable hours so a flexible approach to working patterns is required
