The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Facility Supervisor to work in our clients Adelaide office to oversea the facility management of various South Australian locations. This role is working with a multinational oil & gas company headquartered in Houston. The Facility Supervisor will report into the Facility Manager and liaise with the organisations Australian HQ in Western Australia.


  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the safe, secure, and environmentally-sound operations and maintenance of facilities in various locations.
  • Perform job responsibilities in a cost-effective manner, aimed at long-term preservation of the asset value through the implementation of the best practices, processes, procedures.
  • Provide supervision of the Facility Management Organization and assist location management on the following: budget estimate preparation, progress and cost tracking reports, permits and license requirements, contractor selection for maintenance and running of the facility.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Legal in contract preparations, revisions reviews negotiations, and changes and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Implement quality control programs using LEAN methodology to standardize and optimize facility performance in line with the Global Facility Management strategy.
  • Plan, manage, and, perform, or through subordinates, ensure supervision of the facility management services, including facility operating systems, maintenance processes, repair/improvement, custodial services, and security operations.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities within functions and departments to obtain optimum production and utilization of personnel and equipment.
  • Recommend operating methods and equipment to reduce facility management costs through new sources, substitutions, improved systems or methods, service quality and safety.
  • Coordinate preparation of contract scope/specifications.
  • Administer the facility service agreements for maintenance.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of standards to achieve clean and tidy facilities and support operations through Site-Base auditing.
  • Coordinate campaigns toward implementing a standard professional facility image.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Must reside in Adelaide, SA (no relocation offered)
  • Have the full right to live and work in Australia
  • No travel restrictions and open to relocation in Australia based on company's requirement
  • Have minimum 5 years experience as Facility Supervisor
  • Large Organisation Experience Beneficial
