The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Technician Test Bench Operator for contractual work in Brendale, Brisbane. This position requires individual that can manage a flexible schedule and be available to work outside normal working hours/ weekends and shift work and is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
* Competent in the operation of machinery (pressure testing equipment)
* Be able to complete daily/weekly maintenance on test bench equipment
* Used to the challenges of a high production environment
* Painting/ part marking and packing of finished equipment
* Loading and unloading of trucks and storage of finished part goods
* Assisting in management of inventory for parts, tools and consumables

The Company:
Our client is a world leading oil field services company with offices across Australia. Our client works with some of the world's leading operating clients and provide world class services to the oil industry.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Proven mechanical aptitude and relevant experience/knowledge
* Valid driver's licence and forklift licence essential
* Understand and able to read manufacturing/ mechanical drawings required
* Confident in the use of hand tools and follow standard operating procedures
* Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills
* Demonstrated ability to effectively work within complex, fast-moving work environment under minimal supervision
* Strong commitment to QHSE
* Intermediate computer skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Mechanical/trade background would be an advantage
* Experience in the testing of Progressive Capacity mono pumps would be an advantage
* Gantry crane ticket would be an advantage
* Experience in rigging mechanical equipment and load restraint would be an advantage
