The Role:
Subsea Project Engineer

Subsea Project Engineer
A suitably experienced engineer is required to undertake varied scopes in connection with Subsea IRM categories. This would include:
* Undertake various DSV preparedness and topsides offshore activities.
* Involvement in and stewardship of pipeline repairs (Topside and / or subsea)
* Evaluation of technical proposals that may be supplied by a subsea construction contractor.
* Evaluation of technical proposals and preparation of project plans for topside scopes (related to subsea)
* Engineering reviews of Contractors' procedures, and documentation
* Acting as a SPA for certain repair scopes where appropriate.
* Working within a Diving Safety Management System
* Some site attendance and works coordination
* Occasional trips offshore
* Problem solving.
Suitable candidate
1. Should be a Chartered Engineer (preferably Mechanical or Civil)
2. Rounded subsea project background based around solid experience.
3. Well familiar with co-ordinating and stewarding Diving and ROV intervention operations.
4. Capable of stewarding development of bespoke solutions for unique subsea engineering problems.
5. Some exposure to Pipe Repair operations and methodologies would be well regarded.
6. Ability to review works documentation, participate in safety and assurance processes and to recognise technical obstacles and safety concerns. Propose improvements or procedural changes as necessary.
7. Ability to work unsupervised within a small team including maintaining a team relationship with subsea (and various specialist) Contractors

* Assist with conductor, WAD and R3 project tooling aspects
* Document review
* MOL Valve development team assistance
