The Role:
Key Workscopes
* Safety Case Management
o Support the Integrity and Process Safety Assurance Manager and HSEQ Manager and asset team with the management and development of the Bruce Safety Case.
o Review the status and suitability of key references and supporting studies.
o Work closely with the ops and projects teams to identify and review planned activities, changes and potential projects which may lead to a requirement to update the Safety case or the supporting studies.
o Review potential updates for the requirement to material change to the Safety Case.
o Work with the organisation to put in place a plan and suitable arrangements for forward management of the Safety Case
* Quantitative Risk Assessment Updates
o Support the Integrity and Process Safety Assurance manager with ongoing updates to the installation QRA models
o Review status and suitability of key underlying models and data sets and other safety studies which support the QRA
o Review alignment between QRA and other safety studies and SECE Performance Standards
o Work closely with the ops and projects teams to identify planned activities, changes and potential projects which may lead to a requirement to update the platform QRA
o Review the status and long term suitability of QRA to support planned workscopes.
o Develop forward management plan for the QRA and supporting studies, which aligns with the Safety Case plan
* Technical Safety Work Processes
o Review key work processes for the suitability of the arrangements for Process Safety / Technical Safety engagement and involvement
o Review existing Procedures and Engineering Technical Practices for Technical Safety and Safety Case Management
o Support the organisation in ongoing development of risk management framework; and MAH barrier management processes and metrics
* Ad-Hoc Operational Support
o Provide occasional ad-hoc support to operations, ORAs, Barrier management, MOCs as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Management of MAH in an offshore environment
* Experience working within UK regulatory framework
o In particular those related to the management of MAH on offshore installations
 Safety case
 Pipeline Safety Regulations
* Experience of managing and maintaining Safety case for offshore installation
o Familiar with content and purpose of Safety Cases
o Identification and management of updates
o Identification and management of material changes
* Preparing and managing Quantitative Risk Assessment
o Experienced with development, or management of the development and update of QRA for offshore installations
o Understanding of the principles of Fire and Explosion analysis
o Developing risk assessments of non-process MAHs
* Risk based decision making within the ALARP framework
o Experienced with performing assessments for risk based decisions within the ALARP framework - including both Quantitative and Qualitative ALARP criteria
* Experience with management o
