The Role:
Recruitment: Ensure suitable skilled and well-motivated employees are available to meet the company's operational needs.

1. Develop with line managers HR recruitment strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels.
2. Ensure there is sufficient budget for recruitment requests.
3. Liaise with various agencies and recruitment sources to provide a good range of applicants to meet the recruitment needs.
4. Oversee the work of the Recruitment Supervisor and HR Officers to ensure the recruitment process is carried out in a smooth and accurate way.
5. Manage the induction of new employees and ensure the process is completed correctly.
6. Review and evaluate on a regular basis the content of the induction pack and presentation and ensure information is updated as required to improve and enhance the program.
7. Maintain and manage a nationalization plan for UAE, and assist Director of HR in liaising with government bodies in various offices regarding local employment issues.

Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the application of modern principles and practices for compensation and benefits based on research and data analysis.

1. Assist Director of HR in designing and developing remuneration policies, terms and conditions consistent with the organization's business objectives and HR strategy.
2. Assist Director of HR during the revision and implementation of Short-Term Incentive Schemes (including bonus, annual increment, etc.).
3. Assist Director of HR during the revision and implementation of Long-Term Incentive Schemes.
4. Assist the Director of HR in Compensation Committee matters, acting as a Report to the Board and Remuneration Committee on various HR-related issues.
5. Serve as a member of the Compensation Committee.

HR Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the HR Operations section and undertake activities in support of organizational objectives.

1. Assist Director of HR in pursuing HR objectives and KPIs and in the efficient operation of the HR function in the Dubai office and the field.
2. Ensure HR services provided are in line with company's requirements and future growth, expansion and optimization.
3. Ensure and manage localization strategies and liaise with the various government bodies.
4. Assist Director of HR in the preparation of manpower budgets for each function.

The Company:
Our client is a leading E&P company with projects across the Middle East region. Due to their commitment towards nationalization, they are currently looking to recruit a Emirati Head of HR with strong Oil & Gas experience.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1) 10 - 15 years experience, Oil & Gas experience is a must.

2) Degree in HR.

3) Please note that only Emirati candidates will be accepted for this role due to our clients commitment towards nationalization.
