The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator / Document Controller to join a leading international Marine & Engineering Consultancy. The successful candidate will join the clients Energy team in London to support then with projects in various tasks.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Project Administrator and will play an integral role as part of a project delivery team. They will need to be highly organised in order to anticipate, prioritise and plan a busy workload and manage the demands in a fast paced, professional environment. There is also some Document Control duties included in the role, and the main objective is to coordinate with the different departments and ensure that all documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all internal services. The role also involves checking and approving documents before they are filed and liaising with internal and external agencies to ensure that documents contain correct and understandable information regarding their categorisation.

Main responsibilities (Project Admin)
* Supporting the Project Management and Project Team with all administrative requirements.
* Liaising with project personnel to ensure that all project documentation and files are centrally located and accessible.
* Client / surveyor liaison, coordination and logistics during project mobilisation and attendance.
* Supporting the Team Leader and the Project Managers with Accounts' on invoicing and payment pre-approval procedures.
* Assistance with travel booking and any visa requirements as required by Project Manager or Director.
* Database management of contract/legal documents.

Main responsibilities (Document Control)
* Co-ordinate the storage, review, approval and distribution of documents for projects.
* Allocate and control the document numbering system for project work.
* Monitor status of project documentation on an on-going basis and work with the Project Team and internal departments to expedite overdue actions.
* Input revised documents into Document Management System.
* Issue document update requests when required.
* Manage the master document register, including engineering drawings, manufacturing data books, materials certificates, reports, etc. throughout projects.
* Help maintain the Electronic Document Management System.
* Perform in accordance with KPI's and goals set by the Project Director, Project Manager and Senior Project Administrator.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* The role in not limited by the above-mentioned tasks - the flexibility is essential
* A-Levels / Higher or equivalent
* Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
* Scheduling and organisation
* Strong verbal and written communication
* Proven track record with large international projects
* Familiar with Document Control processes
* SHAREcat knowledge would be advantageous but not a requirement.
