The Role:

As Quality Engineer you will provide support to the project quality and nuclear safety objectives and to improve the quality documentation. You will be working as part of the Management System Department.


* maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet external standards (ISO 9001: 2015)
* drafting, reviewing, revising and issuing IMS documents
* providing advice on and oversight of quality documentation
* participating in Process Reviews
* managing the non-conformance and corrective/preventive action process
* contributing to the continuous improvement process by identifying ways of enhancing the effectiveness of the documentation and the overall quality effectiveness
* participation in Quality Coordination meetings with the Client
* reviewing and providing advice on the UK Project quality documentation

The Company:
Our client is part of a global engineering concern who are involved in the design and implementation of nuclear projects both in the UK and internationally.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* experience with the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems
* experience working in a nuclear, engineering or design office environment
* Fluent in English

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

* engineering or science degree or equivalent qualification
* knowledge of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard requirements
* knowledge of Quality Management Systems
