The Role:
Responsible for contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations. Verifies all aspects of the order, including pricing to ensure conformance with company policy while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Anticipates problems and initiates actions to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Performs contract administration, tracking, and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, funding limitations ensuring deliverance of timely notices to customer, cost performance and customer correspondence. Typically 0 - 3 years of experience. Entry level. Requires basic knowledge of discipline. Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems. Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices.

Description
This position is responsible for providing contract management in support of ConocoPhillips' Commercial organization ensuring Master Agreements are in place and trades are accurately documented with external trading partners

Position Comments:
Responsibilities
* Negotiate master trading agreements with counterparties.
* Ensure timely review and execution of contracts.
* Develop a strong understanding of the Commercial trading business and ensure trades are accurately reflected in the trading systems and match contracts/confirmations provided to or by counterparties.
* Work closely with traders and counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies.
* Develop expertise in trading systems, providing trade loading guidance to Traders as needed, as well as system troubleshooting and business improvements.
* Manage administration of contracts throughout term, ensuring compliance.
* Develop recommendations on contract renegotiations, cancellations, etc.
* Identify changes in contracting practices to generate earnings or cash

Requirements
* Legally authorized to work in the United States * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
1 - 3 years experience

Preferred:
* Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative and sense of urgency to get the job done.
* Strong written and oral communication skills are important; should possess the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
* Strong focus on teamwork.
* Commercial experience preferred.
* Proficient use of Word and Excel.
* Effectively manage competing priorities to achieve results, particularly when new situations arise that require resolution on short notice.
* High level of accuracy needed in contract preparation and work with trading systems.
