The Role:
Alaska - Preventative Maintenance Specialist
Description:

The Preventive Maintenance (PM) specialist supports the maintenance and the reliability programs for all of Alaska by managing the preventive maintenance program for production and infrastructure equipment and facilities. This position provides support for operations and maintenance as well as the capital projects organization.

Responsibilities may include:
* Support and comply with the policies, goals, processes, and programs of CPA's Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in proactive safety processes
* Work with Capital Projects and Operations organizations to develop, generate, and maintain maintenance plans for new and existing equipment within the SAP PM module
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, sound engineering practices, and best business practices
* Coordinate all PM activities with subject matter experts, team leaders and superintendents across client groups
* Support improvement efforts for Maintenance and Reliability as well as Planning and Scheduling through monitoring and assessment of performance. Recommend enhancements to PM programs to drive improved reliability and efficiency of execution
* Participate in rationalization of PM practices across multiple facilities and organizations
* Serve CPA operations and maintenance organizations as the subject matter expert on SAP Plant Maintenance module. Provide maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, and others with training on the SAP PM module either individually or in the form of workshops
* Set direction and ensure sustainability of process and technology changes required to support new maintenance strategy requirements
* Support compliance audits by providing historical maintenance data and maintenance plans as requested by auditors
* Participate in knowledge sharing efforts through the Maintenance Management System (MMS) Network of Excellence. Stay abreast of advancements and share best practices regarding SAP PM by participating in regular conference calls with the PM user network
Basic/Required:
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
* 7+ years of experience with oil/gas process or industrial equipment including maintenance practices and strategies
* Able to read and understand engineering drawings and documents
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
* 5+ years of experience with SAP PM Module
* Recognition as SAP PM Power User is desirable
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft products: Word; Excel; Project Enterprise; PowerPoint; Access)
* Basic knowledge of oil field process, equipment and maintenance practices
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Able to work effectively in a team environment with technical, operations, maintenance and regulatory compliance personnel
* Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment
* Transmits information so it is received and understood in the way it was intended
* Analyzes issues and understands their business impact
* Constantly searches for and implements new ways of doing business better
* Builds positive relationships across organizations that foster a strong work environment
