The Role:
This role will sit as a construction advisor specialized in Piping and Mechanical for the Project Implementation Construction group under CPM (Central Project Management) to support our portfolio of projects as needed.

Job Description:
* Champion Safety
* Formulate construction strategies and plans to support successful construction planning and execution
* Represent Construction in concept screening/selection, contracting strategy/evaluation, and other early project planning efforts
* Provide core competency/expert Construction consultation and support to functional and project teams
* Provide technical leadership for vulnerability and risk assessments
* Develop tools to improve efficiency in managing construction planning and execution
* Provide organizational and staffing assistance
* Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned
* Provide oversight for Operated by Others (OBO) projects as requested
* Provide assistance to contractor supervision activities and safety management practices

In addition to all Level 1 tasks, a Level 2 Construction Advisor must:
* Issue construction technical recommendations to Project management, including organizational matters.
* Lead the evaluation of potential construction contractors based on quantifiable criteria (evaluation matrix).
* Issue strategy & road map, proposing key intermediate milestones
* Propose potential construction contracting strategies, with associated pros & cons, including recommendations.
* Issue particular construction or execution plans (PPEP), and associated management documents as required in order to assure comprehensive definition of restart sequence, including required organizational changes.
* Organize regular reviews of construction costs, resources and schedules
* Identify potential vulnerabilities in construction plans, with a focus on interfaces & scope battery limits, and propose mitigation actions.

* 10+ years' Experience in field Construction planning, execution, and completions
* BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Technical degree
* Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites
* Past Project Construction Advisor experience on major capital project
* Fluent English (speaking/writing)
* Able to work in a multicultural environment
