The Role:
REPORTS TO: Facilities / EWP Quality Assurance Coordinator

SUPERVISES: Construction Quality Inspection Advisors

MAIN FUNCTIONS
* Quality leadership and awareness promotion at construction site
* Capital efficient deployment of construction quality resources; focus and alignment on critical activities
* Liaison between Quality and site team (Construction, Systems Completions, SHE)
* Engagement and collaboration with Contractor's Site Quality Team

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Construction Surveillance Program (CSP) at GPP Site
* Ensure adequate construction QC process establishment and implementation at GPP Site
* Ensure Contractor meets construction site Quality related deliverables per contract requirements
including: Quality plans / procedures, inspector staffing, Clean Build and Preservation Programs
* Schedule and coordinate PT inspection activities including correlation / review of daily reports
* Monitor Contractor's construction QC processes and procedures execution per CSP requirements:
- Evaluate and monitor implementation of Contractor's site quality management systems
- Approve Contractor's Quality organization and monitor performance of key Quality staff
- Review and comment on Contractor's Site Quality Plan
- Lead PT review of Contractor's Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs); involve appropriate PT disciplines
and ensure PT engagement is commensurate with Quality risks
- Participate in review of any proposed sub-contractors not on approved bidders list
- Monitor and audit implementation of Contractor's Quality Program
- Review and monitor execution of Contractor's site quality audit schedule and program
- Ensure Contractor is performing quality reporting per the contract
- Ensure Contractor's systems / procedures progressively build and effectively manage Quality
records to support efficient Mechanical Completions
* Develop and coordinate PT Site Audit Schedule and lead site audits
* Report and investigate site quality issues to the Project Team and support resolution
* Provide site Quality training and assimilation for site inspection personnel
* Lead selection of Inspection Advisors and Discipline Inspectors
* Collect, evaluate and report quality metrics and status to line management and Quality Manager
* Review and assist in development of Quality portion of site close-out reports as necessary
* Capture, document and disseminate Lessons Learned and Quality Alerts

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
* Formal technical, quality assurance and auditor/assessor training is preferred
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in Construction Quality or Commissioning in the Oil and Gas Industry
* Worldwide experience with Contractors and Suppliers involved in production facilities projects
* Experience working in client role on major production facilities projects is preferred
* Extensive knowledge, skill and experience in construction activities
* Qualification / certification in auditing and in inspection disciplines is preferred
* Must be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
* Read, write and speak fluent English with strong management, leadership and communication skills
