The Role:
REPORTS TO: Machinery Lead
SUPERVISES: Machinery Engineer(s)
The Machinery Engineer is responsible for all aspects of rotating equipment selection, design, installation, commissioning, and start-up planning. Ensures that the Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, for the machinery packages are met. Provides oversight of the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor's and equipment supplier's production of the required rotating equipment deliverables within project budget and schedule. Facilitates interfaces among the Area Leads, the EPC Contractor and the equipment supplier's organizations with respect to equipment package issues. The role is characterized by:

* Provides machinery engineering oversight of the EPC Contractor team covering the Liquesfaction, Utility and brownfield plant areas
* Reviews Contractor Deliverables and is responsible for providing and coordinating Company comments for the Machinery discipline
* Ensures that the Machinery Equipment and Systems are engineered and designed consistent with the Job Specification and Regulatory requirements

Responsibilities of the Machinery Engineer shall include the following:

* Coordinates the review of all Contractor deliverables related to the Engineering and Procurement of the Machinery Equpment and Systems
* Provides day-to-day guidance and direction to direct report(s) and ensures timely review of engineering and procurement documents associated with Machinery across the entire Project scope
* Works with the E&R Group to ensures compliance with all FERC permits/requirements
* Directs deployment of machinery personnel and CSC resources as required to perform inspections, FAT, etc.


* Broad and extensive knowledge of:
 Design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
 practices, processes, and expectations with respect to process engineering
* Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering
* 10+ years of closely related professional experience
* Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
