The Role:
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Provide IT plus technical support by fielding user feedback and by providing responses to questions on how the program works, suggested workarounds, and future considerations for program improvements.
Provide technical support of other non-IT plus tools by providing insight on how the existing tools works, and suggested modifications to improve user efficiencies.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing modularization requirements for inclusion into IT plus
* Developing estimating methods and identifying shortfall of current published methods i.e. CEPs.
* Developing technical specifications by translating estimating methods and performance requirements into information required by the company IT group to proceed with inserting new or modifying existing IT plus codes
* Providing historical information on heritage estimating tools and methods to transition knowledge to current workforce for incorporating into IT plus and other tools/methods
* Providing basis for rigorous testing of coding developed by the company IT group and running each test to ensure compliance with expected results
* Instructor for Cost Engineering 1 and 2 and co-developer of course materials
* Provide technical advice to interns during Ad-hoc consultation on ongoing Projects activities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field
* Able to effectively organize and communicate thoughts
* Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications
* Read, write and speak fluent English
10 years of related experience is required
**Genetec software knowledge
Hands on experience: Installation, design, documentations, and cyber system mitigation.

Additional Comments for suppliers:
This position is focused on Physical Security and applicants should have experience with technologies such as access control systems, cameras and CCTV systems, fences and other protective devices. Provide technical security expertise to business lines and GS Advisors on security technology selection, implementation, and maintenance that will meet baseline countermeasures, reduce security risks and provide security program efficiencies. Work with existing sites globally to improve their security systems performance. Provide initial scope, system design and budget estimations of upgrades as well as transitional planning for system integration during the upgrade or installation. Develop drawings and specification to be included in tender documents for major projects. Monitor costs and implementation of technical security projects.
