The Role:

Position Title: Jr. Accountant

Department: Finance

Reports To: Chief Accountant

Primary Responsibilities:

The job holder is responsible for carrying out accounting and administrative activities including General Ledger and treasury ensuring all day-to-day and month end close activities are completed. Prepare and analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. In addition, analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred. Other responsibilities include monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, processing of account receivables, and ad hoc reporting.

Skills Profile:

1. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
2. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3. Familiar with accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
4. Ability to utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
5. Strong understanding of the balance sheets and income statement.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and computer application skills.
7. SAP experience preferred.
8. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
9. Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
10. Bilingual English-Spanish required.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. General Ledger - Maintain, monitoring and analyze account activity.
2. Accounts Payable - Ensure invoices are approved, recorded and paid.
3. Accounts Receivable - Prepare invoices and monitor collections.
4. Banking / Treasury - Work with Treasury for payments and collections.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial reporting activities.
6. Prepare and record journal entries.
7. Granting the collaboration with the tax authorities in cases of tax audits.
8. Granting the statutory book-keeping and the preparation of the financial statements along with the notes, according to the relevant national and international regulations and standards of the Group.
9. Preparing and filing of the transfer pricing policy documentation as required by law.
10. Preparing company's financial information within SOX activities and relevant information flows towards the competent functions of the client.
11. Managing the interaction with the external auditors in the audit activities.
12. Reconcile inter-company balances.
13. Prepare account reconciliations.
14. Assist the Accounting Manager with the preparation of data for the interim and year end audits.
15. Special projects as needed.
