Purpose of Role:
* Provide reliability expertise and support to the Hub Operations team
* To drive cultural change at a Hub level to reduce performance standard assurance failures, unplanned production losses, developing threats and improve reliability

MAE*/MATTE* and HSE* Critical Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSEQ procedures
* Ensure Performance Standard Assurance Failures or deteriorating performance are investigated and corrective actions presented for implementation

Areas of Responsibility Competence Level:
Performance Standard Assurance Failures
o Ensure PS Assurance Failures or deteriorating performance are identified, reviewed, investigated & corrective actions recommended.
Unplanned Production Loss & RCA
* Oversee application of the Unplanned Production Loss & RCA Investigation process by:
o Chairing routine Unplanned Production Loss & RCA Meetings with Asset Onshore & Offshore personnel including Loss Owners where applicable
o Providing visibility of Asset Unplanned Production Losses & RCA Status
o Ensure Unplanned Production Losses are robustly investigated by assigned Loss Owners and corrective actions assigned
o Support assigned Loss Owners conducting RCAs

Condition Monitoring
* Support Condition Monitoring in the asset by:
o Facilitating interactions between the Condition Monitoring Engineer and asset-based Engineers to ensure the timely resolution of CM advisories
o Ensure identified CBM Threats have demonstrable plans to eliminate

General Reliability Improvement
* Provide general reliability guidance and expertise
* Champion the development and delivery of proactive reliability improvement campaigns or initiatives in the asset
* Undertake regular offshore visits to engage and collaborate with Operations personnel to identify reliability improvements
* Conduct reliability analysis to identify bad actors and eliminate defects in a systematic and sustainable way, using company data sources such as CMMS, PI Historian, production loss reports etc
* Proactively monitor, review and analyse plant and equipment performance to identify opportunities to maximise reliability and availability
* Share best practices and communicate techniques to identify reliability improvements.
* Highlight potential reliability improvements.
* Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree
* Application of defect elimination and root cause analysis techniques (e.g. 5-Why, cause mapping, TAPROOT).
* Experience in reliability analysis techniques including equipment criticality analysis, FMECA and calculation of equipment reliability/availability (MTBF/MTTR)
* Familiar with Company CMMS
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
* Strong data manipulation skills.
* Commitment to / champion continuous improvement
* Awareness of HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
* Awareness of Values & Business Principles
