The Role:
General Information
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Indigenous Relations US, the successful candidate will take day-to-day direction from the Engagement Team Lead. This position is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective administration of various business processes, and procedures, as well as the management of engagement records and documents for the Indigenous Relations US team. The successful candidate will also play a key role in managing data and performance metrics, as well as scheduling for the Team to support the effective and efficient delivery of the Indigenous Relations to our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the Indigenous Relations US Team based in both Calgary and the U.S.
Business Analyst
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with the US team to implement business processes to support delivery of the IR program;
- Manage the IR Team's schedule to meet Project schedule deliverables and milestones;
- Liaise with Project functional groups to coordinate IR deliverables;
- Support reporting on IR performance metrics and dashboard;
- Prepare presentations, briefs and reports for IR and Project Management;
- Generate weekly and monthly reports;
- Manage the IR budget and liaise with Project Controls;
- Support engagement tracking and log entries for team members, and ensure integrity of information within defined standards;
- Other general administrative tasks as required by the Indigenous Relations Team;

* Strong understanding of systems, business planning and implementation;
* Demonstrated decision-making, planning and organizational skills;
* Sound knowledge of project management concepts and principles;
* Strong interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills;
* Ability to work independently and take a pro-active approach to problem identification and resolution;
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and business units; and
* Clear understanding of Indigenous community engagement across the lifecycle of pipeline and power business activities;
Education /Experience:
* A Bachelor's Degree, at minimum, from an accredited university in a relevant area of study;
* Three to five years of progressive experience in process and system development, business planning, and project management;
* Working knowledge of Indigenous cultures, histories, and rights across jurisdictions coupled with experience working directly with Indigenous communities;
* Experience and working knowledge with SAP, Sharepoint 365, Visio, Sustainet StakeTracker (or equivalent) Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Projects preferred.
