The Role:
* Help stand-up Client's commercial vehicle management program
* Work with drivers, regional coordinators and leaders and other internal stakeholders to ensure commercial vehicle needs are met
* Support Regional Fleet Coordinators and ensure centralized commercial vehicle inventory database is current and complete
* Ensure invoices from suppliers are accurate and provide Accounts Payable all info required to pay invoices in a timely manner
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure data integrity in all work
* Ensure vehicles that are replaced are retired without delay and assist with vehicle remarketing activities
* Interact with preferred suppliers to ensure business needs are met;
* Create projects and purchase requisitions in SAP for new vehicle acquisitions;
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure safety, risk and compliance requirements are met
* Assist with or lead sourcing, negotiating, and procurement of commercial vehicles and associated upfitting equipment and services (as required)
* Support the review, negotiation, and authorization of large $ vehicle repairs;
* Produce metrics and reports
* Collaborate with all areas of Supply Chain to ensure service is meeting the client's needs
* Review and enhance all processes and procedures relevant to fleet processes and procedures
* Actively contribute to team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver productivity in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
* Ensure relevant compliance to training requirements, work standards, policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned from time to time.
