Our client is currently ramping up a multi-year program to replace field telecommunications and field voice communications infrastructure. The program is composed of many constituent projects and has substantial vendor involvement. The program will address necessary field network infrastructure upgrades at several thousand field facilities across the company. To ensure that our stakeholders continue to be engaged and sufficiently informed as the Program ramps up, we are seeking an experienced communications resource to join our team.

Job Description
Under the direction of the NETFLEX Communications & OCM Lead, the Communications Specialist's responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Developing broad knowledge of the NETFLEX Program to assure consistent delivery of messaging
* Managing internal program level communications (memos, team updates)
* Content development and delivery at all levels (simple templates through to Steering Committee updates)
* Assisting with organizing and planning meetings and events
* Providing communications support to Project Managers, and assisting Project Managers to build and execute project level communication plans
* Creating and assisting with the execution of the program level communications plan
* Creating effective target communication messaging for a variety of audiences

* BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field
* Proven experience as a communications specialist on IS projects
* Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills
* Proficient command of English
* Adhere to tight deadlines
* Ability to multi-task
* Team player, ability to collaborate effectively
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to effectively work independently and proactively, without excessive supervision
* Practical, hands on knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Visio)
