The Role:
Location: Houston, TX (client will not cover parking)
Contract: 12 months

Qualified candidates will have direct experience with project permitting within the following regulatory frameworks: Endangered Species Act, Section 7; Migratory Bird Treaty Act; National Historic Preservation Act; Archaeological and Historic Preservation Act; Clean Water Act, Section 404; State Water Quality Certification, CWA Section 401; and NPDES.

Core Responsibilities: Responsible for analysis of the Liquids Operations Business Unit operational and maintenance impacts on the environment. Provide guidance and direction regarding permitting, avoidance, and/or mitigation measures that may be required for operations activities. Contact appropriate federal and state wildlife agencies as necessary. Provide guidance to operations on the appropriate level of erosion control and protection to minimize potential for erosion during operation activities. Consult with SHPOs as necessary. Provide guidance and direction regarding permitting, avoidance or mitigation measures that may be required for work within or adjacent to streams or wetlands. Provide guidance regarding USACE nationwide and individual permitting as well as state and local agency requirements. Develop and implement project execution plans and schedules, and support the integration of environmental standards appropriately into project planning.
