The Role:
General Information

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Indigenous Relations, Liquids, the successful candidate will take day-to-day direction from the IR Canada Engagement Team Lead and support the IR Canada and US Team. This position is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective management of engagement records, documents, and data. The successful candidate will conduct QA/QC processes and support the administration of various business processes, and procedures, for the Team.

* Generate and manage engagement log entries for various team members and ensure integrity of information within defined standards;
* Track and manage issue and action items and prepare weekly reports;
* Prepare engagement reports, conduct analysis and lead weekly QA/QC reviews in accordance with defined processes;
* Work with Engagement Leads and Team Leads to ensure data quality and management;
* Assist with document management and work closely with external consultants to maintain engagement logs and document control standards;
* Assist with the organization and management of information and evidence reports required to support project engagement;
* Support weekly reporting and preparation of briefs and presentations as required;
* Other tasks as required.

* Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
* Strong understanding of systems, processes and implementation;
* Ability to take direction and possess strong organizational skills;
* Strong interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills;
* Ability to work independently and take a pro-active approach to problem identification and resolution;
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and business units; and
* Ability to multi-task, exercise initiative and prioritize work to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines; and
* General understanding of or interest in Indigenous peoples, culture, history;

* Minimum 5 years of experience in business, administrative and/or data base management;
* Post-Secondary education supplemented with related work experience is considered an asset;
* Experience with StakeTracker and SharePoint is an asset;
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong proficiency with Excel required.
