The Role:
As a member of the Liquids Operational Excellence team, you will help support daily operations through effective and efficient delivery of the processes, procedures and systems that are in place to ensure our pipeline operations are safe, compliant and effectively managed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing optimized plans as well as centrally coordinating and scheduling course based training delivery across the Liquids Operations department with a primary focus on supporting technical training for field-based employees.

As a Coordinator supporting Technical Training & Development, you will:
- Compile and optimize the annual technical training plan and budget
- Work with the Corporate Learning and Development team and Success Factors SAP to schedule and update classroom training and evaluation events, manage participant registration, and submit records of course completions
- Ensure appropriate training vendors are chosen to meet training requirements and support the new vendor process, as required
- Maintain a central training calendar and work with field based associates to manage training logistics
- Create a feedback process to assess quality of training delivery and ensure training is continuously improved

Core Responsibilities:
- Work with business leaders to identify business capability needs and prioritization. Collaborates closely with Business and impacted functions in researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process optimization, systems requirements, generating / compiling reports / recommendations based on findings.
- Summarize findings and recommendations that will facilitate effective and timely decision-making.

Decision Making:
- Operates more independently.
- Decisions range from those governed by general policy to those on technical or complex issues within authorized limits

Duties:
- Review and analyze current processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate and actively participate in development of recommendations to enhance current processes with a focus on optimization
- Develop and present process optimization opportunities to affected stakeholders including change management process
- Support governance and compliance initiatives, e.g. Operator Qualification regulatory requirements and audits
- Act as operational excellence change agent for the organization while promoting benefits of continuous improvement, within expectations of role
- Present process improvement results and supporting data to senior leadership
- Support effort in aligning solutions to standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits)
- Support development of process models and process artifacts to support the identified business processes

Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of post secondary education such as a Diploma or University Bachelors Degree in Business
- Four (4)+ years experience supporting Technical Learning & Development, Human Resources, Process Coordination, or other related role
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate experience and proficiency with various business software applications (Success Factors SAP, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills
