The Role:
What you'll do

* Manage all Third-Party Crossing (TPC) applications through a technology enabled process, including providing support through email and a "hot line"

* Act as the single point of contact for applicants

* Assist third parties, particularly landowners, with registering their application requests for crossings and ground disturbances within the regulated 30m prescribed area

* Review applications for completeness and accuracy, first stage analysis and quality control

* Engage with applicants to resolve non-technical issues with their application request(s)

* Provide support to all key stakeholders; external applicants, regional technicians, internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

* Identify and ensure all affected assets are included as part of the application request

* Direct applications to the appropriate internal SMEs for their review and comment

* Understand, prepare, issue and archive all necessary agreements for third party applications

* Provide training on the TPC process and software system tools to employees as required

* Contribute to continuous improvements efforts related to the TPC process and software system tools

* Generate statistical reports as needed



Minimum Qualifications

* Post-secondary education related to Land or Asset Management/Administration (degree or diploma) or equivalent related experience will be considered

* Minimum 8 years of experience with processing third party requests

* Must possess strong written and oral English communication skills

* Working knowledge of facility installations, including utilities, roads, pipelines and powerlines

* Solid computer skills, ability to learn customized software in addition to SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite



Preferred Qualifications

* Preference will be given to candidates that are fluent in French, both written and oral, as this role provides support Canada wide

* Customer Service oriented, this position interfaces daily with both internal and external stakeholders

* Have exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail

* Ability to effectively manage your time, multi-task and work independently under pressure

* Knowledge of the Canada Energy Regulator, Alberta Energy Regulator and BC Oil and Gas Commission regulations regarding pipelines and damage prevention will be considered an asset
