The Role:
The Security Coordinator will have the responsibility:

* Implement the Security Program in the Regional Jackfish Distict
* Provide supervision and leadership of third party securtiy team
* Conduct, report and follow up on security audits
* Provide advice to the business units on security issues
* Provide input to emergency response planning
* Fulfill roles within the Incident Command System
* Oversee security contracts and their implementation
* Conduct or participate in security investigations
* Execute Devon's security education and awareness program
* Execution and monitoring of Devon's corporate policies including alcohol and drugs
* Review security incidents to develop and implement corrective actions
* Assist Corporate Security during special activities and events
* Develop and maintain relationships with Law Enforcement Agencies and professional security organizations
* Position requires you to live and work in a camp enviroment
* This position will require you to be on call while at site
* Additonal reponsibilites may include protective patrol operations

The Company:
This is relief position and the client is looking for a candidate to work up to 22 weeks per year.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* This position requires 10 years of law enforcement or significant private corporate security investigative experience.
* Strong background in investigations with demonstrated problem solving skills is required.
* College Diploma or University Degree in related studies would be considered a definite asset
* Extensive police experience with a background in a variety of disciplines would be a definite asset
* Experience in leadership/supervisory positions
* Proven emergency response/incident management skills
* Extensive dispute/conflict resolution experience
