About the role:
We are currently recruiting an Environment Engineer to be based in Scotland, Grangemouth.

Key Responsibilities are:
* Prepare and Update of Site's PPC Permit
* Prepare and submit the required emissions data for the Environmental Regulator, notifying management of any excursions outside operating limits
* Participate in and lead discussions with the Environmental Regulator
* Manage programmes to implement requirements of the PPC permit including preparation of reports and documentation
* Monitor and audit site compliance with the requirements of PPC authorisation, iso14001 and iso50001 standards
* Management of waste in compliance with relevant regulations
* Management of site's Environmental Improvement plan
* Preparation of technical scope documents for the new contracts in the environmental area and contract management (using SAP system)
* Updating the environmental procedures for the site
* Interact with all the departments to manage all the environmental issues related to operations and investments

Employment contract:
* Residential/ Permanent

Skills:
* Experience of managing a PPC permit and interactions with the Environmental Regulator
* Resilient & organised

Other requirements:
* Appropriate technical experience (min 5 years) within a Process Industry environment.
* Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or similar, or compensatory relevant experience
