The Role:

This position reports to the VP Subsea Services located in Houston, TX.

Overall responsibility for all Guyana operations and activities including management of shared services
resources, project and operations management, financials, processes and policies for Guyana.

Scope of Responsibilities:
 Oversee daily operations of the business unit/organization
 Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business
 Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports
 Provide direct management of key functional managers in the business unit
 Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
 Ensure overall delivery and quality of the deliverables to customers
 Engage in key or targeted customer activities
 Oversee key hiring and talent development
 Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent
 Communicate strategy and results to the organization
 Report key results and performance
 Engage with multiple business units in broader organizational strategic planning
 Budgeting, Revenue forecasting, Financial report


 Financial planning and responsibility for performance and results
 Establish sales and cost budgets
 Monthly reporting of Business Unit financials
 Check and approve submissions of all Guyana expenditures
 Ensures all SAP time entrees are timely entered and released for approval
 Participates in Merit Planning process
 Coordinates procurement activities with Global network, as required

 Continually collaborate with Account Management and Business Development to accurately gauge and
map forecast
 Maintains existing and develops new relationships with clients, agents, and suppliers
 Visits with clients, as required, to review operations

 Overall responsibility for Guyana operations
 Establish and implement Guyana Business Plan
 Establish, implement and follow-up of Guyana Goals and Key Performance Indicators
 Overall responsibility for Guyana Staff Meetings and monthly reporting to Management as required
 Performance Development Discussion with employees
 Accountable for support personnel compliance with all policies and procedures within established
 Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local,
regulations and laws
 Acts as a mentor to employees to foster development
 Implements programs and processes as needed to achieve business results

 University Degree, Master's Degree preferred or relevant industry experience
 5+ years Managerial experience required
 Extensive knowledge related to function and ability to provide input and solve difficult issues
 Ability to work under pressure while meeting and exceeding expectations
 Good organizational skills with attention to detail
 Good managerial, interpersonal and customer relations skills
 Ability to foster communication, give and receive constructive feedback, coaching and respond
appropriately within diverse cultural environments is critical
 Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively teach, influence and
persuade other employees
 Experience demonstrating, implementing and administering company policies and procedures to
successfully achieve business objectives
 Experience working with others to develop functional solutions to strategic organizational objectives
and presents recommendations to functional department leadership
 Ability to develop and improve processes, policies and procedures to achieve business results that
impact direct function.
 Ability to develop a budget and manage costs within set budget
 Experience in forecasting and filling both personnel and capital resource requirements
 Ability to manage and delegate through Supervisors or Professionals leading others
 Ability to demonstrate Customer Service focused approach to business
 Exhibits advanced leadership traits around communication, establishing requirements, and addressing
areas for improvement
 Demonstrate commitment to core values and leads by example
 Knowledge of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards
 Knowledge of ISO (Industrial Standards Organization) 9001, OSHA and EPA (Environmental Protection

 Spends 50% time in a temperature controlled office environment
 Spends 40% of time in shop environment
 10% of time in customer office or field location/drill rig, and may be exposed to possible hazards
including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traff
