The Role:
They Guyana HR Manager (GHRM) will ensure the day to day HR functions are performed in accordance with country and company requirements and will act as a strategic partner to country management. The GHRM lead the implementation of annual HR objectives and implementation of Guyana employee management framework.


* Minimum of 7 years relevant human resources experience
* Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant degree
* Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, processes and systems
* Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance country management, federal and state respective employment laws.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, as well as external suppliers and organizations.
* Relevant industry experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities
E Business Partnering
* Is the single point of the contact for the employees and managers for Guyana
* Builds strong relationships with local country management; meeting on a regular basis to keep current on business needs, HR initiatives and provide advice on HR matters.
* Maintains a working knowledge of the business in addition to the products/services of assigned client groups.
* Proactively supports the delivery of HR People Plan and Annual HR Process at country level
* Identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
* Partner with HR COE shared services (e.g., Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Talent management, Systems, Payroll etc.) to ensure the business groups receive the necessary services, support, and communications from these centralized HR functions.

E Talent Acquisition
* Assists country management with workforce planning and country management of headcount to maximize resources and manage costs. Assists managers in describing new roles and with identifying appropriate compensation for new roles.
* Assists hiring managers on interviewing leadership positions. Works with recruiting and hiring managers to fill open positions

E Learning and Development
* Provides day to day guidance to line country management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* Reinforces the organization's core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching

E Compensation and Benefits
* Main point of contact to country management on compensation programs.
* Consults with managers on setting base pay and with making equity award recommendations. Providing advice during annual salary review cycle.
* Drives compliance and adherence to compensation programs which includes developing job descriptions, performing job analysis, implementing merit and bonus processes, and recommending and approving site salary actions

E Employee Relations and Engagement
* Identifies and recommends HR services/programs (people practices) within country that encourages employee involvement and increase employee enthusiasm, morale and retention of quality employees.
* Analyze exit interviews trends and manage the coordination of employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback methods to identify work environment trends and improvement opportunities, and recommends strategies for improving employee engagement and retention.
* Partner with internal communication team in order that employees are aware of and understand the key business drivers and performance/behavioral expectation.

E Organizational Development
* Collaborates with country management, employees and other HR staff members to evaluate existing, and introduce and implement new HR programs. Ensure new policies and programs are effectively communicated and meet defined goals and objectives (HR People Plan).
* Identifies improvement of organizational effectiveness by analyzing organizational structure and evaluating options, studying resources and ensuring optimal utilization, assessing employee climate, morale and effectiveness and developing action steps to improve the aforementioned.

E Talent Country management
* Manage implementation and administration of the Talent Review (Org Health Check, Talent & Leadership Review, Development Plan, and Succession Planning)
* In partnership with local country management, trains, monitors and coaches employees to improve skill level, to ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards and to improve safety, quality and process reliability in a cost-effective manner. Facilitates communications, problem resolution and provides appropriate feedback, both positive and corrective within team.
