The Role:
This role will manage the quality systems for a >$200M business within the next 5 years

We are looking for a candidate who:

* Is excited and motivated by joining a dynamic start up business with ambitious plans for growth.
* Should be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business in a fast pace environment and embrace agile working in this wide ranging role.

The role holder will play a critical role in the business implementation team in

* Operating, monitoring and improving the ISO 9001:2015 Business Management System as the company continues to grow.
* Improving the ways of working therefore enabling the business to deliver its ambitious objectives. The role holder is expected to build on the expertise and experience gained for at least 5 years within the automotive, aerospace or manufacturing industry.
* Assisting the Senior Quality Assurance specialist in managing supplier quality
* Work closely with the programme and the engineering team as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) process ensuring process and procedures are followed and fit for purpose
* Champion lesson learnt and Root Cause Analyses using industry recognised quality tools (Fishbone, 8D) and lean (or similar) methodologies.
* Lead any implementation of any upgrade to the Business Management System meeting additional ISO standard or customer requirements e.g. ISO 14001, TS16949.

This Position offers the opportunity to work in a Tier 1 hardware automotive start-up. This will suit someone who has expert skills in quality system implementation and management. Ideally someone who should be a Chartered Quality Professional (or similar status).

For this role we are looking for an individual who has;

* At least 10 years system quality experience (5 years within the automotive, aerospace @OEM/Tier 1 level) - Essential
* Qualified internal/external or lead Auditor - Proficient
* Computer skills i.e. Excel, with the ability to generate automated standard report using pivot tables or other Excel tools, (desirable Access or other database programme) - Proficient
* Energy enthusiasm and a drive to deliver - Essential
* Attention to detail and an ability to analyse data, identify trends and convert them into insights. - Expert
* Good influencing skills - Essential
* Ability to manage multiple projects to completion through fit-for-purpose project management techniques. -
* The ability to manage multiple projects and supplier accounts. - Essential
* The ability to take quality standards and processes and articulate them simply, in an engaging, succinct, jargon-free way. - Expert
* Quality tools(AIAG "Automotive Core Tools"), systems & process learning
* Understanding of quality assurance
* Quality Control

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Results/ Accountabilities

* Operate, monitor and improve the NEXCEL ISO 9001:2015 Business Management System
* Report & maintain key business document as well as facilitate key meetings such as the client Risk & Opportunity matrix document, Issue tracker document & meetings
* Quality KPIs
* Management reviews
* Internal & external audits
* Other quality systems
* Prepare key documents for Business Operations Manager to report to the client leadership team monthly performance review
* Champion key lesson learnt or/and root cause analyses championing the introduction of recognised quality tools used in the automotive industry (5 why, fishbone, 8D)
* Champion continuous improvements and implementation of efficient ways of working throughout the business
* Lead the upgrade of the Business Management System to meet additional ISO standard or customer requirements e.g. ISO 14001, TS16949 as required
* Assist the Senior Quality Assurance specialist in managing supplier quali
