The Company:
In the Spring of 2017 Fine Organics Limited was acquired by Lianhetech, one of the largest Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations in China to provide their global customer base with innovative solutions for supply and manufacture in different geographical regions. Since Lianhetech acquired the Seal Sands site they have invested in the core areas of the business.

The Role:

The Human Resources (HR) Manager for the Seal Sands site is responsible for working with and assisting the Senior Leadership Team and Corporate HR function to deliver their strategy of retaining and building organisational capability, talent and assisting recruitment.

Ensuring all HR documentation is conducted in compliance with current UK employment legislation, liaising with corporate and external agencies to accomplish this.

The HR Manager is responsible for administering the performance management process that supports retention, recognises and rewards excellence.

Bridging and facilitating management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues in line with UK and corporate guidance in a confidential manner.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety requirements are met including (but not limited to) compliance with the working time directive, GDPR, drugs and alcohol.

Assist in the implementation and review of HR policies, procedures and systems, pro-actively updating managers on statutory changes and best practices liaising with external bodies.

Administer and provide support to employees in HR-related topics including compensation and benefit plans, in line with corporate guidelines, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Assist in the recruitment and employee on-boarding processes.

Administer and undertake tasks around performance management including organising quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.

Enhance job satisfaction by promoting HR programmes to create an efficient, healthy and conflict-free workplace, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.

Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
Maintain employee files and records in a compliant manner e.g. electronic and paper form.

Manage an efficient HR administrative team which provides access to individual, team and cross organizational information, and co-ordinates visitors, travel, visas and other confidential matters.

Participate in the budgeting process for staffing related investments and costs, including recruitment, pay plans, benefits, and development budgets.
Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within a post holder's expected capability and commensurate with the post holder's position in the company.

Core Skills
* An understanding of UK employment law and best practices with the ability to learn
* High emotional intelligence- able to sustain listening for understanding and respond professionally when challenged emotionally by workers, and unions
* Role model Behaviour - acts as the site role model standard in terms of treating people with respect, dignity and value
* Data and computer literate, fluent user of typical office software application packages
* An understanding of Chinese culture and the language would be advantageous.

Education/Qualification Required
Preferably degree qualified, but relevant experience in people management is essential.
