The Role:
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Assurance Officer to join us at our site in Seal Sands, Middlesbrough. We are looking for an experience quality assurance person to assist in the management of the QA services to the site.
This is a day position, based on a 40-hour week working Monday to Friday.
Objectives:
* Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP as well as the requirements of cross contamination prevention.
* Provide assistance to site on cGMP, regulatory and cross contamination issues.
* Promote continuous improvement in Quality Assurance across the site
Accountabilities:
To monitor the effectiveness of quality systems, policies, procedures and standards.
* Provide training with respect to the quality systems to other departments.
* Inspect plant and equipment with respect to cleanliness.
* Inspect batch records and cleaning packages for cGMP compliance.
* Participate in conducting internal audits and inspections.
* Assist in ensuring that documents associated with the quality system are completed in a timely manner.
* Provide summaries of quality related data to the Quality Manager
* Act as an internal and external auditor.
* Issuing of Quality Assurance controlled status labels.
* Control of quality related documentation throughout its lifecycle.

In the Spring of 2017 Fine Organics Limited was acquired by Lianhetech, one of the largest Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations in China to provide their global customer base with innovative solutions for supply and manufacture in different geographical regions. Since Lianhetech acquired the Seal Sands site they have invested in the core areas of the business.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Preferably degree qualified or Educational / industrial experience appropriate for the role
* You should have a QA/QC, production or engineering background and be an experienced auditor.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Need to be flexible and able to creatively work to standards whilst always adhering to the relevant regulations and guidelines
* Proactive, able to find answers
* AgroChem experience would be an advantage
* Experienced individual with confidence to influence others
* Experience of managing a deviation and CAPA system in a regulated environment is essential, additionally any experience of working to Croplife guidelines would be an advantage.
