The Role:
A new opportunity has opened for a Contract Administrator to work within a leading engineering company. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for compiling data essential for contracts, assisting implementation of the procedures and monitoring the completion of administrative tasks and contract performance. Main responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Contracts or the Project Manager in identifying specific contract actions and notifications to meet contractual requirements during project execution
  • Monitor areas of (sub) contract performance and perform TECO / CLOSURE
  • Conduct enquiries into specific (sub) contracts problems and assist periodic status reports preparation
  • Highlight, manage and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Organise materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations and training sessions
  • Firm grasp of project contract arrangements and agile negotiation skills
  • Ensure there is no scope creep and capture all changes through variation orders with customer
  • Process procurement requests, engaging the services of the SCM team for procurement, build long-term relationships with suppliers and ensure high quality in all deliveries
  • Ensure that projected costs to complete are accurate and in line with project identified risks
  • Provide team leadership on matters of safety and integrity
  • Clear and current project documentation and reporting within company guidelines & framework

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration
  • Experience in large multi-facet projects and service jobs
  • Demonstrated experience in administration of invoicing, job establishment, tracking of costs, inputs and SAP (CRM & ECC modules)
  • Strong commercial acumen with clear communication
