The Role:
The Key Account Manager will provide on going relationship management for assigned accounts focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction for one or more account. The primary focus of the role will be coordinating sales efforts of Local team members (including sales functions) and developing and maintaining customer relationships and manage resolution of specific customer problems.

This is a permanent position based in NSW - Moorebank, with attractive sales incentives and staff benefits on offer.

Key Responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:
-Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, past purchasing behaviour, organisation including decision-makers, customer business drivers, economic trends, and competition.
-Define and propose revenues and gross margin targets for the account.
-Coordinates the use of internal or external resources (e.g., technical, advertising, marketing) in order to provide value added services to accounts.
-Plans the strategy to establish and develop account relationships. Acts as focal point for problem resolution and monitors the Customer Claims. Plans, facilitates and conducts customer negotiations.
-Leads the development and implementation of the account plan to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritising the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element. Proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Degree in Engineering (electrical) / commercial qualification or recognised equivalent
-Extensive experience in Business Development or Account Management in similar industry
-Experience with MV switchgear, Kiosks, Switchrooms, High voltage equipment, transformers etc.
-Deep knowledge and understanding to the electrical engineering industry.
-Estimating and tendering experience (SAP & MS Excel based system)
-Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project are essential
