The Role:
The Project Manager will be integral to the Automation/Oil&Gas department in coordinating the activities of the engineering team and sub-suppliers. The main responsibility will be to manage the overall project cost and deliver individual packages of work to various projects within set time frames.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills and be able to manage direct reports and other team members.
The position will be based in our client's Notting Hill office on an initial 6 month contract with a view to go long term.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop, plan and control the design, procurement and execution phases of all designated resources/projects to ensure completion in accordance with the contract requirements
- Contribute in the implementation and ongoing development of quality systems in general to meet customer expectations
- Consistent and clear communication with senior management within the client, as well as the client's project management team to ensure a high level of co-operation between all entities
- Ensure there is ongoing team building between team members
- Manage accurate project and contract documents in a timely manner

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical engineering/Project Management or Chemical
- Completion of project management courses or project management certified (PMP or equivalent is desirable)
- Experience in engineering and control systems within the oil/gas/petrochemical industry
- Extensive knowledge of commercial and contract requirements
