Assignment Type Fixed-Term Contract
Department HSE (Heath, Safety & Environnent)
Reporting To HSE Manager

Purpose of the role:
Supporting the HSE Manager with applying and monitoring the activities related to occupational health, industrial hygiene, fitness to work and Medical Surveillance programme for EIRL personnel in London.
HSE Analyst responsibilities:
* Responsible for all necessary activities involved in the implementation of Health Management System (HMS).
* Coordinating with the medical provider the Company's Medical Examination cases for: Periodical, Pre-Employment, at the worker request, changing of job role, return to work, Retirements/leavers and other medical examinations, if required.
* Ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
* Ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed updated and communicated.
* Ensuring the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
* Keeping up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business.
* Inputting of HSE and health standards and procedures into the HSE-IMS (Health, Safety and Environment - Integrated Management System).
* Monitoring contracts, performance and standards with third party health & medical service providers.
* Coordinating the administrative activities for third medical services, providers, duties and medical records.
* Ensuring the Health and HSE reporting of EIRL.
* Preparing and guaranteeing prompt and timely issuing of necessary documentation and data entry required by the HSE and Health Management System e.g. Four-year plan, Risk register, near miss and unsafe condition, worked hours, etc.

Specific support to the HSE Manager for EIRL worldwide personnel
* Design, implement and monitoring the fitness to work and health surveillance programme. The activity is performed by external contractor, and the main role of the HSEA is to ensure and monitoring the correct performance and application of the company Fitness to work standards. HSEA has to provide the necessary information to the provider about the risks present at secondment locations with special emphasis in remote location to allow the provider to define if the worker is fit to work in those conditions in accordance with the Company procedure.
* Coordinating the administrative activities with the provider of the OH services.
* Responsible for health reporting to Headquarters.

Skills and Competencies
* Thorough understanding of HSE management system, matched with a vision of the importance of the health component, and the ability to translate this vision in practical solutions.
* Communicate effectively within a multi-cultural work environment setting.
* Work effectively with HR, HSE and other company and contractor staff.
* English language (essential).
* Italian language (desirable).
* Experience in Oil & Gas Industry (Strongly Desirable).
* Experience in clinic management (Desirable).
* Attention to detail
* Strong prioritisation skills. Focus on right first time.
* Highly collaborative
* Customer focused
* Adaptability
