The Role:
* Subcontract and procurement tender management - plan, compile and coordinate project procurement strategies, invitations to tender, evaluations, negotiations and awards; securing optimal project delivery and commercial results.
* Sourcing Vendor equipment
* Management of Vendor contractors, oversight of transport and logistics
* Client contract development and change management - negotiate and compile client contracts and variations; meeting all key stakeholders and client requirements.
* Continuous improvement - development of the business's commercial and contractual resources, capabilities, processes and systems.
* Quality Management: review scope of supply documentation from a commercial/contractual perspective.
* Negotiate equipment supply contracts and review custom duty and tax setups.
* Develop procurement evaluation and reporting tools.
* Draft recommendation for Award documentation for Project Management approval.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering, Business or Commerce
* Exposure within the engineering or resource development industries in contract negotiations, procurement and administration
* A positive, energetic and flexible approach to work
* Exceptional communication, organisational and analytical skills
* Ability to work within a diverse team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with team members
* Ability to work through processes with a methodical approach concurrently with attention to detail
* Be a self-starter whom thrives on taking ownership of their role whom has the ability to work with minimal supervision
* High level of integrity and a proactive approach in all job related activities
* Well-developed written and oral skills
* Ability to respond to changing priorities in a positive manner, with excellent time management skills
* Confidence in dealing with complex issues and ability to problem solve issues in a logical manner based on facts.
