The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for;
* The recruitment, line management and motivation of Structural Integrity team.
* The delivery of business plan objectives.
* Ensuring that the design is reviewed and accepted/rejected and established under configuration control using the Design Change Control process.
* Ensuring concessions are reviewed and granted/rejected using the Concessions Management process.
* The Development of Structural Integrity team capability and resources.
* The provision of authoritative advice on Structural Integrity design issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful Candidates will meet the following requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a suitable engineering or science subject.
* A chartered Engineer or Scientist, or have the qualifications and experience to achieve that status.
* Is able to demonstrate a track record of success, achievement and learning in career to date, adding value within relevant positions.
* Able to demonstrate previous experience of the review and acceptance/adoption of reactor designs and safety cases.
* Able to show experience of interfacing with Nuclear Regulators on design issues related to Structural Integrity plant to achieve significant agreed business outcomes.
* An ability to demonstrate considerable knowledge and understanding across a broad range of structural integrity and safety issues.
* An ability to demonstrate effective planning, prioritisation and delivery skills.
* Great ability in People / line management
* Be able to prove their ability to communicate and build pro

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The following will advantageous:
* Considerable experience in complex engineering and design projects.
