The Role:
1. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE
Build and support our hardware systems on Company, supplier or customer premises.

2. KEY ELEMENTS OF ROLE
 Build hardware systems in accordance with designs and drawings, utilising best-practice methods of manufacture to achieve high quality
 Ensure high standards of build area housekeeping and safety awareness
 Provide technical support to installation and commissioning
 Technical support to installed base/customers e.g. for maintenance, repair, etc.
 Participate in fault-finding
 May assist in materials management
 May be required to configure lab tools used in hardware build
 Operate conscientiously and safely with due regard to confidentiality and security when working on-site/at client premises, representing the Company in a professional manner

3. KEY PROJECT RELATIONSHIPS
 Responsible to Project Manager
 Receives technical direction from Project Engineer
 For on-site signalling work, receives direction from Signalling Installation Team Leader
 Works with Hardware Designers, Functional Testers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following qualifications/experiences are extremely desirable. However, reasonable training is provided for the role in line with Company policy.
 Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience of hardware design/build and maintenance
 Full driving licence is a distinct advantage
Individual must be willing to work on-site shifts when required during installations/commissionings and/or post-commissioning support, with the likelihood of unsociable hours/weekends/public holidays including Xmas/New Year and Easter a requirement of the role.
