The Role:
Manager, Regulatory Management & Compliance


As Manager, for your discipline and assigned location/scope, you are accountable for ensuring prevention and mitigation of risks to our personnel, assets, the environment and our Company reputation, and compliance with all standards, rules and other requirements imposed by Company, Regulators, Clients and other relevant Stakeholders.

Main tasks and Responsibilities:


The Manager Regulatory Management & Compliance reports to the Global Quality Management & Regulatory Management Manager in Monaco. 

*You are accountable for meeting the objectives and improving the performance of your discipline for the location/scope in line with Company strategy.
*You are accountable for planning the resources and activities related to your discipline in order to provide effective support to the Product Lines/Project /Site.
*You are the focal point for your discipline and location/scope and represent the Company towards external stakeholders.
*You are responsible for promoting and embedding strong leadership, positive behavior and culture across your assigned location/scope.

For your discipline and assigned location/scope,  you are to


*Develop and maintain discipline-specific objectives, plans and budget based on the Group discipline strategy
*Cascade those to internal stakeholders across assigned location/scope
*Monitor effective performance against predefined KPIs
*Manage relationships with authorities, regulators and related third parties for the given area of responsibilities
*Act as focal point with the Client and other external Stakeholders for your discipline and location/scope.

For your discipline and assigned scope/location in order to embed a strong leadership and culture, you are to:

*Translate objectives related to leadership and culture into concrete activities at regional or project level
*Actively contribute to the development of training programs and communication campaigns and drive and monitor their implementation
*Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness

In order to effectively develop employees and manage talent, you are to:

*Ensure that department employees have the right (level of) competencies to enable both current and future business priorities and needs
*Provide regular individual (and timely) feedback, ensure performance issues are addressed promptly and partner with HR to install and promote a motivating working environment
*Ensure team has sufficient growth opportunities and proper development in relevant areas that are aligned with both current and future business needs
*Promote talent growth by ensuring talents have exposure and opportunities when applicable
*Ensure appropriate employee time can be dedicated to development in order to ensure that current and future business needs can be met
*Coach employees, utilize and follow-up of development action plans and engage in effective retention efforts

Job requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical Engineer is preferred. As well as 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and EPCI project experience.
Knowledge of Project Management scope of activities for EPCI.
Knowledge of project management activities, KOM, specification, key milestones, risk review, objectives.
Knowledge of Engineering Design review, Model review, Constructability review and SDC / IDC review.
Knowledge of Procurement critical and long lead items, specification requirements, technical verification of compliance of critical package equipment.
Knowledge of Construction experience, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrument, completions and testing.
