The Role:
Facilitate and drive post award contract management activities for assigned contracts to create value and drive improved performance. Undertake activities in support of contract management interfaces associated with:
* Resourcing & administration,
* HSSE & supply chain risk management,
* Cost & value management,
* Relationships & behaviours, and
* Performance management.

Main Accountabilities:

* Lead value improvement initiatives and facilitate implementation in the business.
* Seek to understand the business drivers and look for continuous improvement opportunities between the business and the contractors.
* As a key team member in the development of contracting strategies to identify the optimal approach to manage the business process to administer the full life cycle of the contract
* Will incorporate various Contract Management tools with their assigned strategic contracts (Contract Optimization Reviews, compliance audits, CPRs, BPRs, Dashboard Reporting, Contractor Safety Management, Contract Holder Training).
* Will be required to incorporate Lean principles of continuous improvement into ways of working - may be given direct Lean Project
* Ensure all elements impacting commercial clarity of contract scope and associated terms to enable accurate and timely payment to contractors including accounts payable reconciliations and system set-up testing scenarios.
* Engage Contract Holders & Contract Owners on all aspects of the contract via the creation of role specific contract summaries. Provide ongoing coaching and support to others within the organization as required enabling effective contractor standards and measures.
* Working with the CP Category lead, develop contract terms, KPI's and measures and collectively communicate results to business and buyer for review.
* Owns and analyses Contractor data, providing information and reporting in support of the Business to assist with maximizing Contractor performance, spend in relation to approved contract value (ACV) and payment to contract terms
* Focal point for the Contractor and Business to manage and coordinate timely contract change orders, issue management, Contractor performance and payment by controlling the business process of contract execution and subsequent contract change orders to be performed by the CP Category Lead.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or (CP Professional Certification)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to deliver results through others
* Skilled in Supplier relationships
* Ability to train stakeholders on CP processes
* Ability to influence decision makers
* Familiarity with ERP (SAP)
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft office suite
* Tertiary education.
* Enterprise First Behaviours (Leadership, Accountability, Teamwork)
* Proven track record of delivering results through others, and strong customer focus
* preferred.
* Experience managing contracts in the maintenance industry (5yrs)
* Experience in oil and gas industry with operations experience (10yrs)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Experience in the LNG Operations
* Knowledge of HSSE Management Systems
* Knowledge in Local Content and Sustainable Development
* Enterprise First Behaviours (Leadership, Accountability, Teamwork)
