The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Deviation Coordinator to join their team, reporting to the Maintenance Planning Lead you will be part of the Maintenance Department. The Deviation Coordinator works together with the Work Preparers, Schedulers Maintenance Support Engineers, TA2's and Offshore Coordinators to ensure work orders which will not be executed in time are adequately risk assessed and mitigated.

The purpose of the Deviation oCoordinator is to:

  • Ensure work orders which will not be executed in time for their LAFD (Latest Allowed Finish Date) have been risk assessed and mitigations put in place where necessary.
  • Make mitigations visible and actioned by their agreed date.
  • Communicate deviation and mitigation status across the Prelude organization.
  • Propose and implement process improvement strategies (Continuous Improvement).

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain an overview of the work order status with regards to LAFD (latest allowed finish date)
  • Put in place FSR (Facility Status Reporting) deviations for SCE (safety critical element) work orders at least 4 weeks ahead of time to enable review by engineering, Technical Authorities, Offshore Coordinators
  • Put in place deviations for non SCE work orders at least 4 weeks ahead of time to enable review by Engineering and the implementation of any mitigation actions.
  • Ensure mitigations are registered and completed in the appropriate systems for tracking and control
  • Identify the reasons for not meeting the KPI (key performance indicator) of zero red work orders in FSR.
  • Weekly FSR report: shows the current SCE work orders status looking ahead 4 weeks, identify action parties

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience working as an Engineer within the oil & gas, mining or petrochemical industry
  • Work effectively with team/work groups or those outside formal line of authority to accomplish organisational goals
  • Hands-on understanding and experience in the use of Excel.
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes from fault finding to repair.
  • Display a level of knowledge in job related areas and willingness to keep up with current developments and trends in the area of expertise
  • Confident presentation style when presenting to senior leadership, good knowledge of subject matter when making presentations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

  • SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge desirable.
