The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Document Controller to start immediately on a 12 month contract based in Perth CBD. The role will facilitate the transfer of materials from Project surplus to Asset Inventory as well as provide visibility and reporting of material status at all stages of the transition process.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively identify demand for surplus materials by analysing current and historical asset demand
  • Provide consolidated reporting for surplus materials - Stock on hand, Asset material master verification, Material
  • Requirement Planning (MRP) and Project to Asset (P2A) transfer status
  • Provide visibility of consolidate reporting to maintenance and work preparation teams
  • Co-ordinate urgent material transfer requests based or emergent safety and operational priorities
  • Prepare and analyse performance and status Key Performance Indicator presentations
  • Coordinate with Inventory Recovery lead and Project disposals lead
  • Locate, and upload materials documentation to facilitate write-on and inspection

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Use of SAP-IM and SAP-MM to control warehouse operations
  • Use of Smart Plant Materials (SPMAT)
  • Strong MS office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
  • Knowledge of and experience using inventory work processes and systems
  • Experience in monitoring inventory KPIs and inventory performance against targets
  • Experience in liaising with the Business on inventory level and stocking strategy
  • Experience with document control and document management
  • Experience in co-ordinating and coaching others
