The Role:
Within our client's Upstream Operations there are regular campaigns of work required to be implemented in a consolidated and controlled manner to ensure sustained operations, without drawing operations and maintenance personnel from the delivery of ongoing core activities.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Program Engineer, the Procurement Lead is responsible for ensuring that all equipment overhauls and materials are delivered to support construction requirements for the safe and efficient delivery of campaigns in accordance with work processes and standards within Upstream Operations.

Key areas for delivering the role include but are not limited to:

* Understand and apply Company HSSE control framework in all aspects of procurement
* Ensure all require material is available to meet construction schedule per IAP requirements
* Provide a 6-week production forecast to multiple vendors for all overhaul/rebuilds
* Engage with logistics team for efficient transport of material
* Liaise with engineering team to ensure that all specified material is catalogued within the CMMS
* Engage with WRFM and Production teams to ensure allocation of constrained material is sized for current operating conditions and prioritised for the overall Upstream Operations
* Coordinate defects and warranty claims with vendors and work with Contract Specialists and Contract Holders to effectively manage claims
* Maintain and monitor key rotable equipment stock levels
* Participate in schedule reviews and provide procurement input
* Coordinate the review and approval of quotes in line with contractual requirements and agreed price lists
* Review payment claims from Vendors
* Input to the development of the procurement budget for programs
* Provide procurement related input to the cost forecast

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

* Experience in contracts, procurement and/or management of equipment overhauls, specifically in the Oil & Gas industry
* Proactive and visible HSE leadership, demonstrating commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions
* Experience managing overhaul contractors in line with contract requirements
* Excellent problem solving, collaboration, communication, interpersonal, client-service, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
* Ability to react and adjust to changing conditions and priorities in a live operation
* Experience in utilising Asset Planning and CMMS for the execution of work
* Strong change management change skills and experience
* Ability to manage multiple programs of work and achieve synergies
