The Role:
Provide technical advice and assurance through;
* Leading in the area of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) and actively promoting the culture within the organization
* Support reliability of control valve, shutdown valve, online analyser systems by using performance monitoring using tools such as Emerson - AMS Device Manager
* Review designs & installations to verify compliance with corporate standards and practices.
* Review/Audit Smart Field Instrumentation maintenance work processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
* Assure lifecycle functional safety requirements in accordance to facility practices and standards (IEC 61511).
* Assure high quality technical advice to operation and maintenance teams which deliver on integrity and reliability outcomes.
* Development of engineering procedures and practices, where relevant.
* Development of equipment strategies and practical maintenance practices.
* Carry out root cause failure analysis to prevent re-occurrence of equipment failures.
* Has the analytical capability to identify and solve complex instrument and control system related problems.
* Offshore travel to FLNG is required on as need basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidate will be degree qualified with approximately 10 years' experience with emphasis on operation and maintenance engineering preferably in a role as senior engineer. The following experience is preferred;
* Knowledgeable of Distributed Control Systems (ideally Delta V), Safeguarding Systems F and field instrumentations;
* Experience in writing technical documentation and developing work processes;
* Experienced in Contract development, mobilisation and management;
* Knowledgeable of Risk & Reliability management systems and techniques
* Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools & techniques; The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter with a hands-on approach and "can do" mentality. Has the analytical capability to identify and solve complex instrument and control system related problems.
