The Role:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The Electrical Lead Engineer is responsible for the Electrical discipline within the project client team during the engineering-, procurement-,construction and commissioning of a Capital Investment project at Rayong, Thailand.
* Direct responsible for all aspects concerning the design of electrical parts of the project such as HV/LV transformers, switchgear, substations, MCC's, VSD's, cabling, lighting, tracing etc. etc.
* Coordinate external engineering companies for electrical engineering activities; liaison information between client team, vendors and the engineering companies.
* Support the tender process with the other disciplines.
* Evaluate vendor quotations and specifications.
* Coordinate and supervise construction and commissioning activities of vendors and electrical construction sub-contractors.
* Expediting and inspection of electrical related equipment and field-installation services.
* Scheduling all activities with other disciplines during all project phases.
* Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies or details.
* Discipline based management and control of the project on the basis of cost, timeline and quality.
* Review and evaluation of company and third party engineering documents, like; MTO electrical, load list, cable list, electrical key one lines, MCC-IO-room set-up, electrical infrastructure documents etc.
* Active contribution to the safety performance of the project and everyone involved.


Requirement;
* At least a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
* At least 8 years of relevant experience in similar industries, at least partly in an international setting
* Other Qualifications and Physical Requirements
* Good Command of both written and spoken English
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem solving capabilities, Team player and strong communicator
* Willingness to work for a period of about 3 years in Thailand.
* Knowledge of legal regulations regarding electrical issues.
* Awareness of the cost aspects within CAPEX projects
