The Role:
The RtP Analyst and Coach will be responsible for the coaching and supporting the RTP Lead and Team in the management, operation and coordination of the RtP process across the project and with Service Providers.
In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for executing complex RtP transactions and support the RtP process improvements, performance reporting and general analytical support (with a focus on data analysis and preparation of management information to support CP Leadership).


* Supervise and lead a team of RtP Focal Points and Analysts to deliver best in class (efficiency, effectiveness and operations) RtP support to the Projects Delivery, Asset and Corporate Teams. RtP Team is responsible for the Purchase Order creation & maintenance ensuring both team efficiency and effectiveness.
* Lead the RtP integration efforts in line with CP Integration Plan which includes training plan and programme to gradually transfer RtP roles and responsibilities to the Staff based in Basrah
* Coordinate the execution of RtP activities across the company and Service Providers to ensure standard and consistent process application and assurance.
* Support the RtP Process redesign and implementation across the company and with Service Providers
* Act as focal point for engagement with key stakeholders (Contracts Engineers, Contract Holders, Project Services and Finance) accountable for the delivery of RtP activities in support of operations
* Manage RtP Performance across the project.
* Manage and report against CP functional targets, business plans and performance goals.
* Lead CP performance reporting and analytical support activities (with a focus on data analysis, KPI reporting, and preparation of management information to support CP Leadership)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years working experience preferably in an upstream environment
* A proven track record as a team leader and of delivery with strong personal integrity
* Self-starter with the ability and courage to initiate and frame strategies and manage change.
* Demonstrable understanding of financial, commercial and technical controls in both the tendering process and contract management.
* Fluency in English as a contract Language. Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage.
* Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of customer orientation and self-motivation to achieve challenging targets within a diverse team on a challenging project located in different geographical areas (Iraq, UAE, Europe).
* Exceptional numeracy skills and ability to analyse data and synthesise it into management information, draw business conclusions and recommend required actions.

  • Experience creating both novel and standard reports and developing graphic and visual representations of the data for internal decision-making, problem-solving, and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint with hands-on experience in data extraction, manipulation, comparisons, reporting, database design, development and implementation (including Pivot Tables, V-lookups, charting, filters, linked workbooks, merging data from different files, etc.)
  • Ability to research data variances and detect/fix issues, errors, discrepancies.
  • Experience developing processes, related training, and ongoing embedding / tracking to ensure success.
  • Expert knowledge and experience of Requisition to Pay and support processes - Accounts Payables and invoicing standards and procedures
  • Expert knowledge and experience of the Requisition to Pay Process and channels, CP applications and processes and SAP
  • Performance reporting and analysis of key metrics
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pre-award and post-award commercial processes for contracting and procurement, including interpretation of commercial terminology and contractual clauses used in the general conditions of contract used in the industry.
  • Driven, High energy and ambitious professional with broad business, leadership experience, and demonstrating executive presence.
  • Strong appreciation for cultural diversity, underpinned by an ability to effectively achieve results and deliver through well-developed working relationships.
