The Role:
RELIABILITY, SAFETY AND INTEGRITY
Develop, plan and implement material performance and degradation monitoring programs that contribute towards maintaining the integrity of plant static equipment and piping to ensure compliance with statutory (DOSH) requirements, relevant design codes and safety procedures.

PLANT INTEGRITY
Identify plant integrity problems by implementing material performance and degradation monitoring program under the prevailing time/budget and manpower availability to ensure fit-for-purpose and cost effective issue resolution to minimize plant operating costs while maintaining plant integrity.

SUSTAIN MECHANICAL INTEGRITY
Provide feedback and recommendations in identifying potential risks such as materials degradation as well as providing technical solutions for immediate corrective action in accordance to established codes, standards, guidelines and programs safeguard the mechanical integrity and reliability of the operating equipment and facilities.

RISK BASED INSPECTION
Establish and manage Risk Based Inspection (RBI) by controlling data accuracy and consistency in RBI system, interpret and validate inspection results, advise remedial action to enhance and sustain availability, reliability and prolong life of critical plant equipment.

Additional Notes:
*Establishing on-stream and off stream material performance and degradation monitoring program that will effectively identify integrity problems under the prevailing time/budget and manpower restrictions.
*Controlling data accuracy and consistency in RBI system, to ensure risk data analysis results represents the condition of the plant and the inspection priority needed to be focus on in order for more effective inspection work execution.
*provide long term solutions to problems affecting plant integrity and availability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
*Possess at least a Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Corrosion or Material Science), from a recognized university.
*At least 10 years working experience in process/operation in oil, petrochemical and gas plant facilities.
*Extensive knowledge of corrosion phenomena, material properties, welding processes, design codes, nondestructive testing methods.
*Sufficient knowledge of different chemical processes to assess their impact on equipment behavior.
*Basis knowledge of stress calculation methods for equipment and piping.
*Good insight in different manufacturing methods, both components as well as of equipment.
