The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
- Support prototype builds, representing the department and helping in the resolution of issue
- Ensure alignment between Electrical department and programmes teams, other engineering departments and other functions, prototype build, release
- Co-ordinate bill of material validation exercises in support of prototype build
- Co-ordinate Electrical Engineering support for prototype build, including tracking and chasing of shortage issues
- Clarify requirements to succeed through clear interpretation of deliverables & expectations to engineers
- Lead weekly meetings with key suppliers to ensure prototype builds are supported and on track
- Weekly publication of programme status sheet and updates of deliverables
- Co-ordination and tracking of engineering releases
- Support consistent Project Reviews and senior reviews to a set format

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
- Self motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision
- Experience in developing new processes and procedures to improve quality and delivery
- Attention to detail and being able to demonstrate being able to work in a fast environment with high degree of accuracy
- Able to demonstrate good project management experience and a track record of successful project delivery
- Educated to degree level
- Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS office
- Presentation skills
- Full driving Licence
- Experience of working in projects
- Proven experience of Project Management

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Understanding of WERS system
